The Real Bottleneck

It's Not Your
Software.

Most ArchViz artists spend years mastering 3ds Max or Corona — only to realize that technical skill without artistic direction produces renders that look polished but feel empty. The difference between a catalog image and a gallery image isn't the renderer. It's the eye behind it.

01
No Artistic Direction

You choose camera angles, lighting setups, and materials by habit — not by intention. The result looks technically correct but emotionally flat.

02
Lighting Without Story

Light is the single most powerful tool in ArchViz. Most renders use it to illuminate — not to create atmosphere, depth, or mood.

03
Weak Composition

Without a strong compositional language, even the best 3D model fails to command attention. The eye has nowhere to go.

04
Post-Production as Afterthought

Photoshop and color grading are treated as finishing touches. In gallery-level work, they are integral parts of the visual language — planned from the start.

The 30-Day Program

Four Weeks.
One Standard.

20 private sessions of 60–90 minutes, Monday to Friday. Each week builds a discrete layer of your visual intelligence — from interior lighting to portfolio-ready presentation. You're not following a curriculum. You're building a body of work.

Why 20 Private Classes

15+ Years of
Experience.
Condensed
Into 30 Days.

A course gives you information. A private mentor gives you real-time correction on your real work, with your real software, on your real problems. The compounding effect of daily feedback — applied to the same two projects over 30 days — accelerates progress that would otherwise take years of solitary trial and error.

What You Leave With

Four Deliverables.
One Career Shift.

The mentorship produces tangible, portfolio-grade assets — not just knowledge. Every deliverable is built live during sessions, with real-time critique and iteration until it meets the standard we set on day one.

01
Interior
Complete Interior Project

A finished interior render sequence developed across Weeks 1–2 and refined in post-production. Includes full lighting setup, material library, and final color-graded images ready for portfolio or client presentation.

02
Exterior
Complete Exterior Project

A finished exterior render sequence built in Week 3 and polished in Week 4. Demonstrates your command of natural light, atmospheric conditions, and compositional language at a professional level.

03
Strategic
Portfolio Direction Review

This is not a summary. It is a consulting session in which we audit your complete body of work — curation, sequencing, narrative, and positioning strategy — to define how your portfolio should speak to premium clients and international studios.

04
Credential
Certificate of Completion

A formal certificate issued by Canaletto ArchViz upon successful completion of all 20 sessions and both project deliverables. A mark of commitment to craft and artistic rigor.

Apply for Mentorship
Qualification

This Program Is
Radically Selective.

The mentorship is designed for artists who already know their tools and are ready to develop the one thing courses can't teach: a consistent, refined visual point of view. If you're looking for a software tutorial, this is not the right place.

This is for you if
You're Ready to Elevate
  • You already work with 3ds Max, Corona, V-Ray, or Unreal and have at least 1–2 years of practice
  • You're a studio or freelancer who wants to charge higher rates and attract premium clients
  • You produce technically correct renders but feel your images lack artistic identity
  • You have a specific project — real or conceptual — you want to push to gallery level
  • You can commit to daily sessions, Monday to Friday, for 30 consecutive days
  • You understand that real improvement requires honest, direct critique
This is not for you if
Not the Right Fit
  • You're a complete beginner with no prior 3D experience
  • You're looking for a step-by-step workflow course or software training
  • You're not ready to invest seriously in your professional development
  • You cannot dedicate the schedule required — Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
  • You're looking for a critique-light, comfortable learning environment
  • You expect results without producing the two required projects

Student Results

What Artists
Say After.

These are real results from real students — artists who committed to the process and came out the other side with stronger images, clearer vision, and a different understanding of what their work can be.

"Santi stimulated my creativity in an unprecedented way. Through the course it was possible to understand lighting as an indispensable resource for a result that is not only realistic, but also a pleasant image. An attentive teacher, always willing to take the best of each student."

"This is not a tutorial of setting up lights in your scene — this is a unique tool and way of thinking that Santi shares with you in real time. You talk with Santi as a friend who does not rush you and sincerely shares not only knowledge but inspiration."

"Be part of this amazing experience with Santi was great. Mastering Exterior Lighting changed my way of approaching a scene and gave me confidence when creating a storytelling moment. I highly recommend any of his courses."

"The Mastering Exterior Lighting course by Santi is not just training of what to do or which buttons to press — it is a unique vision, philosophy and approach to how mood and light work. A great and very inspiring experience."

"Santi Sánchez doesn't only offer world-leading training — he also teaches you an entirely new way of approaching your work as a 3D Artist. He is my mentor, he is my inspiration, and he has become a great friend."

"Santi has allowed me to recognise my skill and inner artistic value. He has been very supportive in helping me create the best CGI work in the industry. The feedback from him has been invaluable."

FAQ

Common
Questions

Everything you need to know before applying. If your question isn't here, it will be answered in the discovery call.

The program is conducted primarily in 3ds Max with Corona Renderer and Adobe Photoshop — the industry standard for architectural visualization. However, the artistic direction principles taught (lighting logic, composition, color grading, post-production thinking) are software-agnostic. We can adapt critique to V-Ray, Blender Cycles, or Unreal Engine workflows on a case-by-case basis.
Each session can be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours' notice. Reschedules are accommodated within the same calendar week whenever possible. Sessions are conducted Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM — weekends are not included in the program schedule.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm and reserve your slot. The remaining 50% is due before the first session begins. Accepted payment methods are confirmed during the discovery call. Pricing is not listed publicly — it is shared individually after applications are reviewed.
Not necessarily. We define your two projects — one interior, one exterior — during the onboarding session. You can bring an existing project you want to elevate, or we can identify a concept that best serves your portfolio goals. What matters is that the project challenges you.
Yes. The program can be conducted fully in Spanish upon request. All sessions, feedback, and written materials can be delivered in either English or Spanish — confirm your preference in the application form or during the discovery call.
Online courses teach information in isolation. This program provides daily, real-time critique applied to your specific work, your software, your problems, and your aesthetic goals. There is no pre-recorded content. Every session is a live exchange — which means your progress is directly tied to your actual output, not your ability to follow generic exercises.
Between sessions, you can share progress updates, quick renders for feedback, or specific questions via direct message. Response time is within the same working day. This support channel keeps momentum between live sessions and ensures you don't spend hours blocked on a single decision.
